Go therefore and make disciples of all nations
Matthew 28:19
Jesus calls us to make disciples of all nations—and we joyfully join that mission. As a church, we partner with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and International Mission Board (IMB) of the SBC to support gospel work both near and far. In addition, we directly support missionaries around the world and aspire to send teams on both domestic and international mission trips.
But missions isn’t just about going overseas. It’s about being sent right where you are. Our hope is that every member of our church sees themselves as a missionary, faithfully sharing the gospel in their workplace, school, neighborhood, and home.
Whether across the street or across the globe, we exist to make Jesus known.

Active Missionaries
Paul and Jina Lee
Paul and Jina, along with their son Isaiah and daughter
Eliana, reside in Nairobi, Kenya doing the work of Missio Dei
Discipleship Ministries.
The vision is to see disciplemakers in East Africa become
deeply rooted followers of Jesus who participate in God’s
mission in their local communities, countries, and continent.
In East Africa, pastors, church leaders, and missionaries lack
affordable avenues for training and equipping, often without a
support network to allow for deeper formation.
Missio Dei exists to equip in Biblical literacy, train in practical
ministry, and have mentoring relationships with pastors, lay
leaders, and missionaries in East Africa in partnership with:
International Leadership University (ILU), an accredited
Christian university in Kenya. The school has been investing
in men and women since 1981 with alumni serving all over
East Africa.
Africa International University (AIU) and the Nairobi
Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (NEGST)
Africa Training & Mentoring Network (ATMN), which offers
mentorship, workshops, seminars, and conferences.

Paul is teaching Bible and theology in the Undergraduate
school of Theology at ILU and AIU and works within the Africa
Training and Mentoring Network. Jina provides operations
support for Missio Dei and ATMN.
Your prayer and financial support are vital to the work of
Missio Dei. As pastors, lay leaders, and missionaries grow
into healthy and deeply rooted disciples, they go on to plant
healthy churches that make healthy disciples, who carry on
the mission of Jesus.
Paul and Jina would love to connect with you if you have any
